Slip trailing bottles are traditionally used by potters and ceramists to flow slips onto ceramic pieces to create raised decorative designs. They can also be used to apply glazes, engobes and underglazes for a variety of effects.

The Fineline Applicator comes a 20 gauge (.5mm) stainless-steel dispensing tip. The dispensing bottle is an oval 1.25 ounce low-density polypropylene bottle with an 18/410 threaded neck. 

It should be pointed out that one of the unique features of the Fineline Applicator is its ability to use and interchange with a wide variety of types and gauges of dispensing tips. 

The long stainless steel needle offers an easy-to-use, precise placement, free-flow never clogging system for all of the above liquids. After each use, push Cap|Wire into the needle and secure. When removing the Cap|Wire, twist and pull upward, bit by bit, until removed from the bottle.
